according to the latest report of the cambodian general administration of rubber, cambodia exported 107,938 tons of rubber in the first five months of 2023, an increase of 2.5% over the same period last year.
the report said that the country earned $145.8 million from rubber exports in the first five months, a drop of 13.5% from $168.7 million in the same period last year; low about $252.
the country's rubber is mainly exported to malaysia, vietnam, singapore and china.
as of now, cambodia has a total of 404,578 hectares of rubber plantations, of which 315,332 hectares or 78% are harvestable.
