propylene glycol butyl ether and ethylene glycol butyl ether are similar polar solvents. if it is made into a cleaning solution, it is best to use the same non-ionic surface based on the principle of similar miscibility. as an active agent, the butyl ether aqueous solution can be combined with surfactants such as aeo, np-10 or jfc to synergistically reduce surface tension for degreasing and degreasing. when degreasing pure butyl ether, it can be directly mixed with non-polar solvents such as ethyl acetate, industrial heptane, xylene or tetrachlorethylene for better results.
