according to monitoring data from the ministry of commerce’s important production data monitoring system, the coal market price of monitored sample enterprises in fujian province this week (october 2-8, 2023) averaged 1,488.44 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.1%. among them, the market price of anthracite coal was 1,273.33 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 0.3%; the bituminous coal market price was 1,596.00 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.2%. overall, the coal market prices of sample enterprises monitored in fujian province fell within a narrow range last week. during the mid-autumn festival and national day golden week, coal mines maintained normal production and coal supply was stable. as the temperature dropped, nstream companies maintained a wait-and-see attitude and mainly purchased on demand. it is expected that coal market prices in fujian province may adjust stably in the future due to changes in supply and demand.
