according to the ministry of commerce’s important production data market monitoring system, from august 26 to september 1, the average price of coal in shaanxi province was 1,229.7 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.2%. among them, anthracite coal was 1,387.5 yuan/ton, the same as the previous month; coking coal was 1,596.8 yuan/ton, n 0.2% from the previous month. at the end of august, the coke market in shaanxi was greatly affected by price cuts by steel mills, and the supply side slowed n slightly. however, some steel mills still rushed for goods, and there was some resistance to coke price cuts.
