according to the latest statistics from the portuguese general directorate of energy and geology (dgeg), portugal's installed photovoltaic capacity will reach 2.56 gw by the end of 2022, an increase of 33.6% from 2021. as of july 2023, portugal's installed photovoltaic capacity has increased to 3.1 gw. in 2022, portugal's total power generation capacity based on solar technology will be 3.5 gwh, and by july 2023 it has reached 4.5 gwh.
