mitsui chemicals to increase production capacity of takelac polyurethane dispersions

recently, mitsui chemicals announced that it will increase its production capacity of polyurethane dispersions (pud) to meet the market demand for mono-material food packaging, which is rising with the growing demand for sustainability. specifically, the shimizu plant of mitsui chemicals mc corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of mitsui chemicals, will expand its pud production facility as follows. the move is expected to roughly double its domestic production capacity.
