drug safety is related to the health and life safety of the people, economic development and social harmony and stability. the state food and drug administration has established and improved the drug (vaccine) information traceability system, and continued to deepen the reform of the drug and medical device review and approval system. through strengthening supervision, the overall pass rate of the national drug sampling inspection has increased from 97.1% to 99.4% in the past five years.
according to reports, my country's drug and medical device review and approval process continues to be optimized, and review resources are gradually shifted to new drugs, children's drugs, and rare disease drugs that are urgently needed in clinical practice and have clear clinical value. up to now, the state food and drug administration has approved a total of 130 innovative drugs and 217 innovative medical devices, effectively meeting the health needs of the people.
