("" for short) showcased a concept super charging pile made with 's innovative material solutions. ultramid® polyamide (pa), ultramid® advanced polyphthalamide (ppa), ultradur® polybutylene terephthalate (pbt) and elastollan® thermoplastic polyurethane (tpu) is used to manufacture various components of the concept supercharger, including electronic housings, charging guns, circuit breakers, switches, safety components, cables and cooling systems.
marilyn li, vice president of performance materials asia pacific industrial products business management lye) said: "the material used in the concept supercharger has outstanding mechanical properties, including flame retardancy and electrical insulation. our proprietary simulation technology, ultrasim®, also helps to shorten the design cycle."
the prerequisites for materials used in high-power charging piles are often more stringent because they need to carry higher current and voltage loads. therefore, these charging piles need to be made of high-performance materials that exhibit excellent mechanical properties and high dimensional stability at high temperatures.
