recently, the state grid sichuan-chongqing 1,000 kv uhv ac project and the jinsha river upstream to hubei ±800 kv uhv dc transmission project simultaneously completed the laying out of the same 500 kv transmission line. this is an important step in the construction of uhv in my country. this is the first time.
at the construction site, the staff operated the drone and slowly lifted into the air with the traction rope. at an altitude of 140 meters, they drove the wire weighing 6 tons and slowly crossed the 500 kv jialin line. finally, it is erected between two iron towers with a height of more than 170 meters and a distance of 400 meters. it is understood that the construction of this crossing is to take advantage of the power outage maintenance win period of the 500 kv jialin line of sichuan power grid to achieve only one power outage and complete the three operation sections of the sichuan-chongqing uhv and jinshang-hubei uhv projects. at the same time, cross the release line. this minimizes outage time.
the jinshang-hubei uhv project is the first uhv project passing through the qinghai-tibet plateau, and the sichuan-chongqing uhv project is the first uhv ac project in southwest my country. both projects are scheduled to be put into operation in the summer of 2025 and completed. in total, it can deliver approximately 75 billion kilowatt hours of electricity per year.
