on october 18, the national bureau of statistics released china’s economic data for the third quarter. according to preliminary calculations, the gdp in the first three quarters was 91.3027 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.2% at constant prices. looking at the quarters, gdp increased by 4.5% year-on-year in the first quarter, 6.3% in the second quarter, and 4.9% in the third quarter.
