sodium citrate is a white cubic crystal or granular powder, odorless, cool, salty and slightly spicy. sodium citrate is non-toxic, has ph adjustment properties and good stability, so it can be used in the food industry.
a preparation method of sodium citrate is as follows:
dissolve citric acid in water and then add ion membrane liquid sodium hydroxide to react. control the reaction temperature at 50°c and the end-point ph value at 7;
directional reaction add glucose to the liquid, and the amount of glucose added is 5 times the mass content of sodium chlorate contained in the raw material ion membrane liquid sodium hydroxide;
add glucose the reaction solution is kept at 80°c for more than 3 hours; the resulting solution is filtered, evaporated under reduced pressure, concentrated and crystallized; the resulting sodium citrate crystals are centrifuged, and the crystals are washed with water, and the resulting crystals are dried in a fluidized bed to obtain the finished product of sodium citrate.
