from january to may, the added value of the city's industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 0.4% year-on-year. from the perspective of affiliation: the added value of central enterprises increased by 1.3%; provincial enterprises decreased by 7.3%; county-owned enterprises increased by 18.6%.
from the perspective of leading industries: the four leading industries of coal, chemical industry, non-ferrous metals, and electric power completed an increase of 8.9% in added value, accounting for 87.7% of all industries above designated size. among them: the non-ferrous metals, electric power, and chemical industries increased by 35.2%, 11.1%, and 11.5% respectively, and the coal industry decreased by 21.6%.
from the perspective of product output: as of the end of may, the cumulative production of raw coal was 4.2722 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%; cement was 1.1305 million tons, an increase of 6.3%; ferroalloys were 33,200 tons, a decrease of 22.7%; an increase of 39.6%, of which: copper increased by 13.4%, lead increased by 19.5%, zinc decreased by 1.5%; power generation was 10.156 billion kwh, an increase of 4.3%, of which: thermal power increased by 1.1%, hydropower decreased by 13.2%, wind power increased by 59.4%, solar energy power generation increased by 8.02%.
